The Cajun’s jumped into first place with the commitment of 2020 Catholic – New Iberia Trey Amos and they don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.
Amos, a three star prospect per 247 Sports, can play just about anywhere on the field you put him because of his outstanding athletic ability. He plays quarterback and the secondary for his high school team. Trey is a very talented cover guy in the secondary with plenty of upsides. He ran a 4.49-40 at Rivals (Houston). He chose the Cajuns over other offers he had received from South Alabama, ULM, La Tech, Southern, and Nicholls State.
In 2019 Amos was also the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) State Champion in the Long Jump.
