Showdown In The Cat House – District 4-5A Match Up

A Game Between Two Teams that were loaded with tons of talent – The Central Wildcats and The Zachary Broncos – met at the The Cat House on Friday night to play in one of the most pivotal games in the 4-5A District.  The winner would be setting themselves up for a District showdown for the Championship.

What started as a defensive battle quickly turned into both teams setting off fireworks with their offensive group.  When Central would make a run to tie or take the lead, the Broncos would answer with their offense scoring to put the lead back to a 10 to 17 point lead.  Big plays by both teams wowed the fans in the stands as they watched the athletes on the field shine under the Friday Night Lights of The Cat House.

By the time is was all said in done, 3 Star 2020 QB Keilon Brown, and Memphis Commit, had accounted for over 433 All Purpose Yards and 6 TD’s (3 Throwing, 3 Rushing)

The 55-35 Win by Zachary will set up a “take all” District Game that will decide the 4-5A Championship.  Zachary will host the Walker Wildcats at Bronco Stadium November 8th, 2019. Both teams are 4-0 in District Play going into the final week of the season (Week 10).
