LSU Offers the #1 Cornerback in the State Of Louisiana

The June 1st dead period has ended and visits began as elite prospects flocked to top schools to visit.

Since March of 2020 Division I schools have not been able to host prospects due to Covid-19 concerns and guidelines.

LSU hosted several top prospects from around the state as well as a few out of state players.  Many left with an offer in hand including the #1 cornerback in the state for the Class of 2023, 4-Star Jordan Matthews of Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, LA.

Evaluation: exciting and quick corner that shows outstanding cover skills early for the C/O 2023, speed, quickness, fluid transitions, plays with a very high football IQ, very instinctive.
