What looked like a repeat for the championship trophy, quickly changed with 55 seconds left in the game. The Calvary Cavaliers defense stopped St. Charles Catholic on 4th and 1 to get a turnover on downs. Calvary’s explosive offense took the field and mounted a furious drive down the field, with no timeouts left, to score with 18 seconds left in the game and put the score at 34-28.
The rest is history as the Calvary Baptist Cavaliers completed their 2023 Football Season Undefeated at 14-0 and a State Championship.
