MaxPreps Player of the Year for Louisiana LSU Signee J. T. Lindsey Alexandria Sr High

J.T. Lindsey of Alexandria is the 2024 MaxPreps Louisiana High School Football Player of the Year. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound senior running back led the Trojans to a 13-1 record and to the school’s first-ever undefeated regular season.

For the season, Lindsey rushed for 2,476 yards and 33 touchdowns. He added 18 receptions for 248 yards and three more scores. His efforts helped Alexandria reach the Division I Select state championship, the school’s second title game appearance.

Lindsey rushed for at least 100 yards in all but one game and eclipsed the 200-yard mark in six games.

Lindsey led the Trojans to their first district title since 2012, rushing for 206 yards and two scores on 30 carries in a 42-16 win over Neville (Monroe) to close out the regular season.
