Privacy & Terms
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Recruit Louisiana collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the http://recruitlouisiana.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site, any of it’s media including photos and videos, etc.
Recruit Louisiana is totally self funded and is a totally FREE site for our users. We do not sell subscriptions or memberships in order to enjoy the information on Games, Camps, Tournaments, Playoffs, Rating information, 7v7’s that we cover, or the basic profile information of our outstanding student athletes.
If at anytime a follower becomes negative towards a student athlete or the owners of the site we have the right to remove the follower from following our social media sites in order to protect the positive environment of our site and our student athletes and coaches who voluntarily follow our sites.
All media including but not limited to profiles, photos, videos are for the sole use of Recruit Louisiana. Any, use of our media by other sources outside of Recruit Louisiana without permission or credited given will be deemed as a violation of Copyright laws and we reserve the right to contact those who use our media to request it be removed from their site or proper credit given.
Prospects provide photos for their profiles and articles. Credit will be given to those outlets and sources that are readily available; however, if there is no form of watermark or notation located on the photo we have no way of knowing who the photo was taken by.
If at anytime a photo is found to be that of another media source and it is the desire of that entity or person to have it removed please contact us at recruitlouisiana@gmail.com along with the place that it is located. It will be removed and the prospect will be contacted with a request for a new photo. This is a free site with free content that only wishes to help support our student athletes however many are unaware of copyright media laws.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, fill out a free profile form, and in connection with games, camps or 7v7’s we attend and provide coverage on our site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, phone number, and coach’s information. Users can visit our Site anonymously anytime to check out the latest information, game coverage, scores, photos we have taken, etc. We will collect personal information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, with the understanding that it may prevent them from engaging in coverage and exposure on the Site’s related activities. Any personal information is only shared with college staff’s and is verified before a member of a college football staff receives a private password to access the information.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We do not allowed recruiting services that charge parents, players, or high school programs to follow the site in order to obtain information of our followers since we are a free and safe site to help student athletes.
We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding name, height/weight, school and hudl highlights as a basic profile on the site in the form of a basic prospect profile.
We are a totally FREE site and accept no outside funding to run our site, everything is part of the mission project set up 10 years ago in order to help the student athletes in Louisiana and other student athletes who may request our help.
How we use collected information
Recruit Louisiana may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
- To improve customer service – Information you provide helps us respond to your requests and support needs more efficiently.
- To personalize user experience – We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the resources provided on our Site.
- To improve our Site – We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.
- To provide prospect information to the 700+ college coaches that follow the Recruit Louisiana site. No private information (such as, phone numbers, email addresses, etc) is shared with the public; only college coaches have access to that information in order to help in the evaluation process of PSA’s and contact high school coaches concerning PSA’s.
- To send periodic emails – We may use the email address to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
Changes to this privacy policy
Recruit Louisiana has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.
